Do you need to refresh your bathroom?
When’s the last time you looked – I mean REALLY looked – at what was in your bathroom? Sure, you are in there every day, and use the top layer of items in your drawers and cabinets.
But what about the back of the bottom drawer? What about the tippy-top shelf of the cabinet? What is lurking in those often untouched corners? Want more ideas to refresh your bathroom? Keep reading.
Rethink:
Before you even begin to refresh your bathroom, start by rethinking what you already have. Be realistic about what you actually use: from free samples to hotel bottles to products suggested by others that don’t work for you, it’s easy to end up with mountains of bottles, tubes, and jars in your bathroom. Unused samples can often be donated to homeless or women’s shelters.
Reject:
The next step as you refresh your bathroom, is to reject anything you are done with or no longer need. Purge what you don’t need: give it away or throw it away -especially if you can’t remember how old it is. A big culprit- old nail polish remover. It tends to lose its potency over time. Replace it with this one and you’ll have a gentle AND effective option at your fingertips.

Resize:
When you refresh your bathroom, bigger is not always better. Buy products in sizes that make sense: only use it occasionally? Then a small tube or container is great. Daily staple? Then go for the warehouse club size. Here are some of my favorite small sizes.
