Want a quick start with Color Street? Whether as a hobby, side hustle, or full-time gig, it is exciting that you can get started with your very own business for under $150. (For around $150 – $129, plus tax and shipping- you get the Basic Starter Kit ($250 value).) . As you wait for your kit to arrive, here are a few things you can do to get started right away!
So I just signed up with Color Street? Now what?
Quick Start With Color Street: Make a Nail bar
A great advantage of selling Color Street is that you can make purchases from your own Nail Bar (our term for a party) – and YOU can earn the hostess rewards. The more you – and your customers- purchase from that nail bar, the more free and half-price sets you can earn! So it’s important to set one up right away.

What do I do with that link?
Quick Start with Color Street: Let’s talk link organization
There are several FREE options you can set up to have the following basic info in one place:
– link to your shop site (this is the one that goes to your Nail Bar)
– link to a sample request (as a Google form, or other)
– link to a social profile you are currently investing time in – (Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, or email list)
Linktree is a great basic option. Campsite is similar, but it gets pictures from Instagram, so not a good fit if you are not currently spending a lot of time on Instagram.
tap.bio is an Instagram-specific one (but it is viewable on other platforms) – the free version gives you two cards to customize.
That link is a little long and unwieldy now…
Quick Start with Color Street: Consider a Domain Redirect
No matter which option you choose, any of the above will provide you with a link that will start with the service name, followed by whatever personalization you like. For an even simpler link to share online and in person, consider a domain redirect, from a service like NameCheap. For as little as $12/year (yes, $1/month!) you can get a basic domain name. I chose my name, but if you have a very common name, you can choose whatever you would like people to associate with you – just don’t use Color Street – or any derivative – in the name.
Ok great, I have a nice, easy-to-remember link. What should I do with it?
Quick Start with Color Street: Share Online
You can immediately share it online, of course, by creating a “Shop Now” button on your Facebook business page, linking Pins to it on Pinterest, or making it your link in bio on Instagram. (it is NOT recommended to plaster this link all over your PERSONAL profiles on various platforms, but you certainly may text, email, or message the link to anyone who requests it!)
Quick Start with Color Street: Share In Person
You will also want to share your link with people you share Color Street with in person. Of course, you could order business cards, but that usually takes a while and can cost a bit of money. The simplest thing to do is to start with printing your link on 1 x 2 ⅝ inch labels. This size will fit on the back of a smaller Color Street package, on the front of a newer, larger Color Street package, on a sample (or “twosie”) as well as on the catalog. Put labels on all those items when they arrive and you are off and running.
