Most eating establishments, large or small, are happy to offer gift cards or gift certificates. No time pick up a gift certificate? Just print the logo from their website and add cash or a check to DIY it. And it doesn’t have a to be fancy – a casual place to pick up a weeknight dinner or even a local bakery can be a welcome treat.
Last Minute Gifts: Your Time
This might look different depending on the recipient – but I know plenty of people who would love someone to walk their dog, feed their cats, pick up their kids or skip the dry cleaner’s this week. The offer is especially meaningful if the family has a member with special needs – an aging parent, or a child with health challenges.
