Can you have fun with fewer calories?
The holiday season can be full of temptations – the buffet tables laden with food, your aunt’s famous cookies or tamales, that extra glass – or two – of sparkling, um, “cheer.” Consider ways to connect with friends and family in non-caloric ways. Plan a family hike or walk, play board games or put together a puzzle, or have a mani-pedi party.

Fun with Fewer Calories: Sit by the fire
Tell stories, sing songs, or just watch the flames.
Fun with Fewer Calories: Ugly Sweater Contest
Have an ugly sweater contest or a decorating contest or how long can you stand on one leg contest…
Fun with Fewer Calories: Play a game
And preferably one that doesn’t have a screen, like some of my family’s favorites here.
Do everyone’s nails
Have a DIY mani-pedi party with all the cousins, siblings, and friends who are around!
