Why you should try a Fab Fit Fun Box Part 2

I’ve been reading a lot of other blogs lately, learning what I like and what I don’t like – in order to help you enjoy this blog more.  I saw SO many people posting about the Spring 2019 box from Fab Fit Fun that I just HAD to click over and get one. The website allows you to choose a few items in advance (and even more if you join with an annual membership), and the rest are a surprise.  Each box includes 8-10 full-sized items – and I have to admit, when the box arrives, it’s a little like Christmas – in April!

Fab Fit Fun Part 2:

Here’s half of what was in my box (and click here for the other half):

Tula Purifying Cleanser

I had been using a formula from Clinique that I was hesitant to replace, but I have found this one to be gentle and a good fit for my combination skin.  You will likely find this full-size bottle will last a long while, as you only use a small amount and it foams up nicely.

Value:  $28

Verdict:  This is a great value product to me- it will last a LONG time and works well.

Dr Brandt Skincare Needles No More No More Baggage Eye De-Puffing

This is not a product that I would go looking for (nor is it easy to Google!).  This salmon-colored (!) cream does seem to be reducing some of that end-of-the-school-year puffiness, and the odd color actually counters any dark circles.

Value:  $42

Verdict:  Pricey for a non-essential item, but if it continues to work well, then it may become a regular addition.

Ouai Leave-In Conditioner

I have used a leave-in conditioner off and on my whole life.  As a ballet dancer, I wore my hair long – often between my mid-back and waist – for most of my teens.  Though my hair is straight, at that length it was prone to tangling so a spritz of leave-in conditioner was a helpful detangler.  My hair is just above the shoulder now (less for Mr. Diggy to pull on), but I still have found this product leaves my hair shiny, but not weighed down or at all “crunchy” with the product.

Value: $26

Verdict:  A long-lasting product (I only a small spritz each time), I think it’s a worthwhile addition to my routine.

The2Bandits Athens Necklace

I put it on right away- I love necklaces and this one provides a subtle way to participate in the iridescent trend without overdoing it.  It is adjustable, so you can wear it a bit shorter or longer, depending on the neckline of your dress or shirt. It does carry a warning to avoid water and/or perfume while wearing it.

Value:  $30

Verdict:  A great everyday piece that I’m enjoying

I shared the other half of the box over here – I do appreciate that every box is a little different, and they do seem to consider personal preferences based on your answers to their questions.
